Meeting with Town Planning Officials regarding Amnesty scheme for OC.

Dear Sir,

First of all, I thank your officers Mr. Khandpekar and Mr. Rawal for the kind courtesy extended to me and our Corporator Mr. Suhas Desai when we met them on Monday, January 15, 2018 to discuss regarding the Amnesty scheme for Occupation Certificate ( OC).

This letter is just a confirmation of what we discussed in the meeting.
1) The officers explained to us in detail the new Amnesty scheme introduced by the Corporation.
2) I inquired about the earlier applications made by our society M/s. Saket CHSL, Thane (W).
3) Mr. Suhas Desai pointed out that in the month of September last year, he had raised a question about the OC for Saket CHSL in the General Body meeting of TMC and the ADTP had then informed that OC can be granted. He said that the same has been recorded in the minutes of the Corporation.
4) The officers informed that OC was not given to Saket in the past Amnesty scheme because the applications did not have the relevant papers like the Approved plan etc.
However, they informed that in the new Amnesty scheme, the criteria and conditions have been eased and the Society should make a fresh application, which will be processed on merit and OC can be given.
They informed that the Approved plan was necessary and in case the Society doesn't have a plan, then it should get one made from their Architect and submit it to the Corporation.
5) The officers informed that a fresh application along with the Structural Stability Certificate was required from the Society.
6) They informed that it should be a composite application from the Society  and no individual application shall be entertained.
7) They also informed that internal alterations in the flat can be regularized with the members paying the penalty to the Corporation. However, in case of major changes - both internal and external - OC won't be given to the entire building.
8) They informed me that the scheme is open up to June 30, 2018 and gave me the new application form for doing the needful.
